computer has revolutionized lives of people over the last decade. offices, school and even homes with out computers have become unimaginable . computer education become a part of school curriculum and most of the people are now well aware of how to use a computer. Even though computer are this machines with high processing power, in order to tap their maximum potentials we should optimize their performance. with a millions of malwares and viruses out there , keeping computer perform up to there maxiumum potential has become a hard task. i have heard people complaining that there pc is slow even thought they use a 2 gb ram and a core 2 duo processor . i use a old computer with 256 mb ram and a p3 processor , old version still i can use my computer with out much struggles except for latest softwares and all. though speed of computer mainly depend on ram and processor, neglecting bus speed and such , inorder to make use of what you have payed for , you need to optimize you computer.

Alt + Ctrl + Del will open task manager , it will show all processes running in your pc . its is a basic thing to do when you feel you computer is running slow. worms and Trojans can feed up on your bandwidth ,disk space and more importantly available ram. so always watch out for them.i have found this blog and it will help you by providing more ways to optimize your pc .Enjoy.

"To improve PC performance, the user must delete cookies. Deleting cookies on a regular basis enhances PC performance and prevents other websites from retrieving the user's personal information. Cookies are small files that are stored in the Temporary Internet Files folder on the computer. Furthermore, cookies have the ability to load a website faster than normal speed. For example, users who go online by using a dial up connection keep their cookies because they don't want to wait a very long time for their homepage to load. However, keeping cookies for more than a week deteriorates PC performance. Furthermore, many websites gather information from cookies and use them in a very harmful way. Not only will users receive spam from their inbox, their password protective accounts will be stolen. As a result, PC performance will only be minimal and the user will have to create a new account."
